Grace Yang is a Partner at Conrad|Metlitzky|Kane. Her practice focuses on complex civil cases and investigations, with an emphasis on high-value contract litigation, online-platform disputes, trade secrets, business torts, and internal and government investigations.

As a trial attorney and former product lawyer, Grace knows how to present a business’s strongest case. She has successfully managed state and federal cases from start to finish—taking effective depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive motions, bringing cases to trial, and defending trial-court victories on appeal. She also has significant experience litigating and trying cases before arbitration tribunals. Before joining Conrad|Metlitzky|Kane, Grace was a product lawyer at Google, where she advised over seventy different product and engineering teams on all legal issues for Google Assistant, an AI-powered virtual assistant for mobile and smart-home devices.

Previously, Grace was a litigation associate at Keker, Van Nest & Peters and a law clerk to the Honorable William Alsup in the Northern District of California. She earned her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she received the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Fulton Haight Award, and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Grace lives in Berkeley with her husband and two children.
